And you don't HAVE to grow up. My dad is living proof of that as the youngest 51 year old in the world.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773296.post-1146146589596815412006-04-27T09:03:00.000-05:002006-04-27T09:03:00.000-05:00If I may (even though my name starts with a 'J'). ...If I may (even though my name starts with a 'J'). I've got some thoughts on this growing up stuff. This year on vicarage I've found myself wishing college a lot. A lot more than I should have. It's because all my friends were there with me. It's because the only pressure was to learn as much as I could to prepare for Sem. It's because the responsibility level was at -2. Growing up is interesting, because its not me. But, there's really no other choice I guess. I had a thought this morning that is someone comforting and disconcerting, John 15. The branches the bear fruit he prunes. He doesn't let them be, he keeps snipping for this reason or that. Somedays I'm tired of the pruning because it feels more like I've been tossed in the fire. This is a thought worth pursuing. Anyway, God be with you Hannah. You're doing a great work.joshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13678799536620636971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773296.post-1146092187213202812006-04-26T17:56:00.000-05:002006-04-26T17:56:00.000-05:00Growing up does suck... but it can only get better...Growing up does suck... but it can only get better and that's the good part!

PS I looked back at your entry from April 21, 2004 and I think it really fits some things we've been going though lately. Sometimes it's good to look back to see how far (or not-so-far) you've come.Jamie Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00051113491476604820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773296.post-1145983199843404462006-04-25T11:39:00.000-05:002006-04-25T11:39:00.000-05:00Ah the storms of life! And, yes, it stinks! I get frusterated with my career - where I should be, be headed, and how fast. For some, it's wondering when you will find your life partner. Others, it's wondering why your life partner won't pick up the kitchen table and take his nicely folded clothes and put them in the dresser. Others it's deciding when to start a family, and learning how to raise a child. It's just crazy times. I think, that every stage in life has "ups and downs" "worries and trials". Thank God that we have Him to cling to during these times. I always wonder how the other half (non-Christians) ever make it through life? I'd be in a pine box by this time! :) God's blessings on your summer activities, Hannah!lubke-mosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15426537996568166863noreply@blogger.com
